Under Track Systems: Our under track syste
ms provide a sleek and seamless pool design, with the track embedded in the pool wall or mounted to the bottom side of rectangular pools’ coping. This allows the track to remain virtually unnoticed and provides a more integrated look. For an even more cohesive appearance, the track can be built directly into the pool wall using track encapsulation.

A mechanical torque limiter` protects the motorized mechanism from excessive stress and is easily adjustable. When the system is stressed, this allows the motor to continue to turn without damaging the system. This will protect the system from catastrophic breakdowns, broken ropes, or torn fabrics.
Rope pulleys of high quality are critical to overall system performance. As a result, we use custom-designed and field-tested rope pulleys to ensure maximum reliability in the pool environment. These are stainless steel pulleys with sealed double rolled ball bearings. Depending on the system, 1″ and 2″ are available.
Powerflex ropes act like a shock absorber, making them more forgiving and self-adjusting during operation. It also resists the distortion that is common with autocover ropes, making it easier to install and operate with fewer adjustments. Detachable ropes are separate from the cover, allowing for less expensive and faster repairs.
Coverstar is the only manufacturer that provides a full 5-year warranty on new motors, INCLUDING water damage. The pitted and sealed motors have a stainless steel body that is designed to expel heat faster, preventing overheating and extending the motor’s life. This waterproof motor is designed to withstand the damp and frequently soaked environment found outside.
The Polymer Housing from Coverstar provides the ideal environment for the Automatic Safety Cover system. This housing was created and designed to provide a long-lasting, durable environment that shields the system and fabric from the elements. Furthermore, it is so simple to install that it will save you hours of construction time!
Our anodized roll tubes are available in both a 6″ standard diameter and a newer 4.7″ diameter. The standard size has a maximum width of 28′, while the industry standard is 24′. This allows wider pools to still fit into our Polymer Housing without the need for a custom housing to accommodate a wider tube. The 4.7″ tube allows for more length in a Polymer Housing. The 14″ polymer housing can accommodate up to 55′ of fabric track length, but the 4.7″ can accommodate up to 65′.
In addition to the anodized roll tubes, we also offer 3 different types of anodized leading edge bars as well. The Coverstar standard for nearly 20 years, the 3” round bar is a staple to the Automatic Safety Cover industry. Along with that, we now offer a 2.5” rectangle bar, that offers more strength, wider coverage, and eliminates the potential gap at the end of the pool. This is becoming the new standard for Automatic Safety Covers. For our smaller spas and fiberglass pools, we also offer the 1.25” flat bar for the most streamline look possible.
When the pool is closed, this simple switch integrates seamlessly with your pool equipment to prevent water from flowing onto the fabric. Simply program the switch, and you won’t have to worry about your waterfall, deck jet, or slide turning on and causing damage to the fabric and/or pool when you close your cover at the end of the day. All pool equipment manufacturers are supported.
Control Options
Leviton
The Leviton control switch is the standard switch for all of Coverstar’s automatic cover systems. The Leviton is a simple lever control that operates the cover into the cover or uncovered positions by pushing the lever up or down. This switch is designed to be held in the cover or uncover position for the duration of operation for safety reasons. The cover comes to a complete stop the moment you let go of the switch. Furthermore, this switch includes a built-in “self-diagnosing” feature light, which allows you to quickly determine whether or not you have power to your automatic safety cover in the unfortunate event of a power outage. If the indicator light illuminates, you have power. The Leviton Switch utilizes a brushed aluminum finished locking door to ensure security of your automatic safety cover. This allows you to rest at night knowing that you are protected.
Touch Screen Pool Cover Controller
The Coverstar Touch Screen Pool Cover Controller controls your automatic safety cover. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other touch screen controllers. When combined with other touch screen controllers, they form an automatic network in which any touch controller can control any other touch controller.

Fabrics
Our safety cover fabrics are made with an advanced vinyl formulation and superior fabrication methods to produce a 17 oz. per square yard material that is coated with an exclusive acrylic material to produce an incredibly strong and durable fabric that is the best in the industry. This specially formulated heavy duty vinyl fabric has been tested and proven for over 30 years and provides optimal UV, chemical, and mildew resistance. The closed polyester weave and extruded coating process improve fabric strength, tear resistance, and abrasion resistance. Accept nothing less than a Coverstar Central safety cover fabric to ensure superior product performance.
Heat Sealed Webbing
The webbing is heat seal bonded to the cover fabric in a single step, and the rope is swapped out for a flexible polumer bead using an exclusive, patented process. With significantly longer webbing life and better cover operation, this procedure is a significant improvement over the standard webbing attachment method. In contrast to sewn webbing, our heat-sealed webbing does not stretch or bunch. That being said, it is clear that heat sealing is the better option when it comes to webbing that is sewn on.
Track Options
An aluminum extrusion with a low profile that is 3/8″ tall and installed above the cement deck on both sides of the swimming pool. The best uses for this application are free-form new constructions and installations on already-existing pools. With this particular track type, the mechanism can also be installed in the deck of free-form pools or on top of the deck of pools that already exist. This has been the norm for the industry for almost thirty years.
These days, this Under Track is standard in the Automatic Safety Cover industry. It is easy to install and service because it is housed in an encapsulation that is poured into the deck. The Powerflex Detachable Rope system can be used with Coverstar products thanks to this 3-channel track, which also enables the system to be stored beneath the deck.
A free form pool’s design should keep you from slowing down. With an RHT, you can have a flush-mounted track in the concrete and not have to worry about a track on top of the concrete because the track is installed flush before the deck is poured and then surrounded. The goal of this product was to simplify the process of getting that finished product look. Tan and grey are the available colors for this product.
This track option, which is only 1″ wide and resembles an expansion joint cut into the concrete, is our slimmest and most streamline option. Similar to the RHG, this track is flush with the deck finish because it is set into the concrete. Additionally, for increased dependability and reduced maintenance, this track has a 2″ end pulley instead of the conventional 1″.
Lid Options
Poured Stones or Coping Stones, Coverstar’s most exquisite and lovely option, over the Automatic Safety Cover housing produced the ideal, coordinated look surrounding your pool. Ensure that the pool is perfectly symmetrical, with the same appearance on all four sides. Our poured stone system is available and produces the ideal 2′ wide stones that will last for many years.
The most popular and stylish aluminum lid option that Coverstar provides is this one. Installing this lid prior to the concrete pour created the ideal surface for the Automatic Safety Pool Cover to be secured to. Because the Flush Aluminum Lid does not protrude higher than the surrounding deck, there is no chance that a sharp corner will protrude and endanger both adults and children who are playing barefoot next to a pool.
As a lid option, this one has a neat, trimmed outline. The Flush Aluminum Lid and the Flat Hinged Lid are made of the same painted aluminum lid panels, giving you a better option for tidying up the pool area. Walking around your pool in safety is made possible by the 3.5″ trim “picture frame” surrounding this type of lid, which leaves room for the middle portion to be raised in the event of a Top Track, RHG, or Slim Flush Track while allowing the motor and non-motor end to sit flush with the deck.
The Standard Aluminum Lid, Coverstar’s flagship lid option, has been available for almost 30 years. The most affordable option available right now is this well-respected choice. This is the ideal finishing touch to complete your backyard project because it requires the least amount of installation work.
